Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

  1. Grand Prize

Most innovative solution that brings the world of decentralized technologies to the masses. Whether it’s wallet development with onramps and offramps, or a game that motivates people to embrace the technology, the grand prize of the TeFi Alpha Hack event will be to the team that creates something that accelerates adoption.

  1. DeFi & Economics Prize

This award will go to the team that innovates and pushes the boundaries of what Decentralized Finance can do. This may be as it relates to validator staking or bonding curves on yield farming opportunities. The focus is on economics and finance.

  1. Monetary Solution

This prize will be awarded to the team that creates a solution that offsets some of the very troubling issues in society today with regards to money supply. Inflation is at an all time high around the world and we want to encourage participants to think of ways to combat this situation.

  1. Terra Specific Prize

This award goes to the team that showcases the best use of Terra’s blockchain’s features. Tying into the seigniorage mechanics or maybe using the existing protocols such as Mirror or Anchor.

  1. Governance

Currency and investments are important, but so is governance. This prize is for the team that innovates the most in the area of governance. Whether it be through proposals in a current DAO or creating a new form of governance that can be used by other projects.
